Jrue Holiday is the real MVP

Jrue Holiday is the real MVP

I’m not talking about Finals MVP like Giannis, but Jrue Holiday needs some respect on his name.

For those who forgot last year, the Milwaukee Bucks went all in trading Eric Bledsoe, George Hill, three future first-round picks, and two additional Draft pick swaps for Jrue Holiday and the 60th pick in the 2020 NBA draft.

At the time it seemed like a lot but 1 year later it was the perfect trade.

Through the postseason Holiday averaged 17 points and 9 assists on the offence but his biggest role came on the other end of the court where he averaged 2 steals and per game. With the biggest steal coming on Devin Booker in the closing moments of Game 5 followed huge with the huge lob to Giannis to close the game out.

Holiday’s defence was an integral part of the Bucks winning their championship in 60 years. Let’s see if he can do the same at the Olympics to help USA claim Gold.
